Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the entire application lifecycle. The role focuses on integrating various components within the ecosystem to speed up delivery while maintaining high standards of quality. Daily activities include continuous testing efforts covering security, application programming interfaces, and regression suites. The position also involves developing and refining automation strategies, creating automated scripts, and managing data and environment configurations. Additionally, the role requires active participation in code reviews, defect monitoring, and reporting to foster ongoing improvements in testing processes across projects.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to define and implement automation strategies that align with project goals and quality standards.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to support professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure testing activities are aligned with delivery timelines and quality expectations.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Strong understanding of continuous testing methodologies including security, API, and regression testing.
- Ability to configure and manage test data and environments to ensure reliable and repeatable test execution.
- Familiarity with code review processes and defect tracking tools to support quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate testing activities within the software development lifecycle.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
