Roles & Responsibilities

• Own quality end-to-end across the software development lifecycle, ensuring reliable and high-quality release
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI and API automation frameworks using Playwright and modern testing practice
• Build and maintain regression suites covering critical customer workflows and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
• Perform hands-on manual testing for new features, exploratory scenarios, edge cases, and release validation
• Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, and reusable test cases based on product requirements and technical designs
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, smoke, and cross-browser testing across web applications
• Execute API testing to validate request/response behavior, authentication flows, integrations, and error handling
• Identify, reproduce, prioritize, and track defects while providing clear and actionable bug reports to developer
• Debug failures through logs, network traces, and root-cause analysis to accelerate issue resolutio
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers during requirement discussions, sprint planning, design reviews, and release cycle
• Continuously improve test coverage, automation strategy, and QA processes to increase release velocity and product reliability
• Evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, and testing methodologies to raise the quality bar across the organization- Act as the final quality gate before production releases, ensuring a seamless experience for customer
• Demonstrate strong ownership and agency by proactively identifying risks, closing quality gaps, and driving improvements without requiring constant direction
