Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in the Karate Framework and API Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation framework development, REST/SOAP API testing, CI/CD integration, and Agile-based QA processes.

The candidate will work closely with Developers, QA teams, and Business stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery through effective automation strategies and testing practices.

• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using the Karate Framework.
• Perform API testing and automation for REST/SOAP services.
• Execute functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with Developers, QA teams, and Business stakeholders.
• Identify, track, and report defects effectively.
• Support CI/CD integration and automation execution.
• Participate in sprint planning, test planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Validate backend data and APIs through automation and manual verification.

• 5+ years of QA Automation experience.
• Strong expertise in Karate Framework.
• Hands-on experience in API Automation Testing.
• Good knowledge of Java, Maven, and Git.
• Understanding of BDD concepts.
• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD tools.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Selenium knowledge is an added advantage.
• Experience in Database/SQL Testing.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools like JIRA.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

• Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods are preferred.
• Candidates with strong API automation and framework development experience will be prioritized.
