Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop Automated Unit Test and Support Solutions.
2. Design and Review Technical Documentation Able to assess the changes/requirements and provide effort estimation.
3. Provide support and on-the-job training to less experienced team members Interact with client/onsite counterpart Lead Project/Team members
4. REQUIRED SKILLS Minimum experience of 10+ years Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium.
5. Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
6. Good understanding of Typescript/JavaScript for writing automated tests for web applications preferably Playwright.
7. Design, implement, and execute automated test suites to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability.
8. Troubleshoot and debug issues identified through automated testing and provide detailed defect reports.
9. Document test plans, test cases, and test results in a clear and concise Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver for automated web application testing.
10. Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
11. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
12. Experience with version control systems such as Git.
13. Using the Agile/Scrum framework to plan and execute development activities.
14. Help drive the software development process towards quality-centric methodologies, always seeking to avoid defects or find them at the earliest stage possible in the SDLC lifecycle.
15. Excellent Analytical skills Strong debugging skills. Experience in leading a team or working in IC role driving strategic goals.
