Your Role

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery through a combination of manual and automated testing practices. You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure robust, scalable, and reliable applications.

In this role, you will:

• Analyse business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to derive test scenarios.
• Design, document, and execute test cases, test plans, and test strategies.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and UAT testing.
• Log, track, and manage defects while working closely with development teams for resolution.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for issues identified in production environments.
• Develop and maintain UI and API automation scripts using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Build and enhance reusable and scalable automation frameworks.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines and analyze automation failures.
• Configure and manage automated test execution using CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Generate, analyze, and present detailed test execution and quality reports.
• Perform database testing by validating data using SQL and NoSQL queries.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across applications.
• Conduct performance and scalability testing using JMeter.

Your Profile

• 5 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
• Strong expertise in Manual, Web, and API testing.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience in performance testing using JMeter.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and test automation integration.
• Experience in database testing with SQL and NoSQL technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
