Key Responsibilities:

Define, implement, and continuously improve the enterprise-wide QA strategy, processes, and best practices.
Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, including manual testers, automation engineers, and SDETs.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, DevOps, Development, Support) to ensure quality across the SDLC.
Oversee test planning, execution, defect management, and release readiness across multiple projects.
Drive the design and development of scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks.
Manage performance testing, security testing, and integration testing as part of the overall QA lifecycle.
Champion continuous integration (CI), continuous testing (CT), and continuous deployment (CD) practices.
Define and monitor key QA metrics (e.g., defect leakage, test coverage, release confidence).
Ensure compliance with internal standards, external regulations (e.g., ISO, GDPR, HIPAA), and audit requirements.
Conduct root cause analysis of defects and drive preventive measures.
Promote a culture of quality across the organization.

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of progressive experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Proven experience in building and scaling QA teams across geographies and technologies.
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Strong understanding of automation frameworks and past hands-on experience (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, JUnit).
Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in using bug tracking, test management, and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Confluence).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced, CSM.
Experience in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
