QA Automation

Job Description:

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites using Python and Robot Framework. You will work closely with developers to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. Responsibilities

Design and implement automation frameworks using Python and Robot Framework.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

Collaborate with teams to identify, address defects and improve test process.

Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams.

Maximum leverage of automation for the testing needs.

Stay up to date with the latest advancements in test automation tools and techniques.

Required Qualifications

Degree in Engineering - computer science or software development.

10 years of Information Technology experience, mostly in Quality Assurance / Engineering roles.

Strong understanding of testing processes and testing life cycle.

At least 7 years of experience with Test Automation across tools and technologies and frameworks.

4 years of Experience in Robot Framework with phyton scripting.

Strong Experience in Test Architecture Design & Framework Development.

Good knowledge in UI & API Interactions.

Familiarity with leading automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG based on project requirements.

Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment on testing activities.

Review Project work and the progress on a regular basis via Daily, weekly and fortnightly ceremonies.

Have in-depth Application knowledge and perform hands-on for defects finding and tracking.

Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualification:

Retail /Telecom Domain knowledge

Experience in CI/CD, Execution Pipeline management (Jenkins/Assure).

Experience in Database testing

Good Hands-on with prevalent Test Management & Defect Tracking Tools

Experience and knowledge of SAP Retail Automation

Experience with other test automation tools (e.g. Postman)

Certifications in Python programming or Robot certifications.
