Python AWS Automation Engineer

Job description

This role focuses on AWS cloud infrastructure automation and platform enablement leveraging Python based tooling to standardize govern and automate operational workflows The position supports infrastructure reliability and cloud operations teams by building scalable automation on AWS native services

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS infrastructure automation solutions using Python to improve operational efficiency consistency and governance
• Event driven cloud automation using AWS services such as SNS SQS Event Bridge and CloudWatch
• Enable API based integrations between AWS services and enterprise platforms ITSM monitoring identity and other tooling
• Support migration of operational automation from Azure Functions or other platforms into AWS native automation services
• Package deploy and manage automation workloads using CICD pipelines
• Collaborate with infrastructure security and operations teams to align automation with enterprise standards and service models

Required Skills

• Advanced experience using Python for automation and orchestration
• Proficiency with AWS SDKs boto3 and REST API integrations to automate cloud and operational tasks
• Experience building modular reusable automation scripts with proper exception handling and logging
• Strong experience with AWS services including EC2 S3 RDS Lambda VPC IAM and CloudWatch
• Handson experience with Infrastructure as Code IaC tools such as Terraform AWS CDK Python or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with integrating AWS automation with external enterprise systems and APIs
