Job Summary

Purchase Manager will be responsible for sourcing and procurement of Raw

Materials for Ceramic Raw Materials Manufacturing Operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage procurement of raw materials such as Calcium Nitrate, Colemanite, Dolomite, Potassium

Carbonate, Potassium Feldspar, Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Feldspar, Zinc Oxide, Zirconium

Silicate, Titanium Dioxide, and Di-Calcium Phosphate etc.

Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers to ensure consistent quality and timely supply.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.

Monitor market trends, raw material price fluctuations, and availability.

Ensure cost optimization and maintain procurement within the approved budget.

Coordinate with production, R&D, and quality teams to ensure raw materials meet required

specifications.

Maintain proper documentation for purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.

Manage inventory levels and plan purchases to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.

Develop long-term vendor relationships for strategic sourcing.

Desired Profile :

B.E. - Ceramic Engineering / Chemical Engineering
10 to 15 years experience in Procurement of Chemicals / Raw Materials in Ceramic / Chemical Manufacturing companies.
