With a strong portfolio of residential and commercial projects, we take pride in our attention to detail from concept to procurement to delivery. We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to strengthen our supply chain and procurement operations.
Role OverviewThe Purchase Manager will be responsible for end-to-end procurement of materials, furniture, fixtures, and all project-related supplies. This role demands strong vendor relationships, sharp negotiation skills, and an understanding of the interior design supply ecosystem.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end procurement of materials including furniture, fixtures, fabrics, hardware, and finish materials for interior projects.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors, suppliers, and contractors aligned with project quality and budget standards.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Raise and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and resolving supply-related issues proactively.
Maintain an updated vendor database and rate contracts for frequently used materials.
Coordinate closely with the design and project management teams to understand material requirements and specifications.
Monitor inventory levels, avoid over-purchasing, and reduce material wastage across projects.
Conduct regular market research to stay updated on new materials, pricing trends, and supplier developments in the interior design space.
Ensure all purchases comply with budgets approved by management and flag variances in a timely manner.
Prepare and present MIS reports on procurement status, spend analysis, and vendor performance.
Requirements5+ years of experience in procurement or purchase management, preferably within the interior design, architecture, or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of interior materials laminates, veneers, tiles, glass, hardware, upholstery, and allied products.
Proven track record in vendor negotiation and cost optimisation.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel in particular); familiarity with ERP or purchase management tools is an advantage.
Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and vendors simultaneously under tight timelines.
Graduate in any discipline; degree/diploma in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or related field preferred.
