Public Relations Specialist

This is not a send press release and chill role.

Youll be in the middle of everything were trying to say externally launches, founder narratives, product stories, and moments that deserve attention.

What youll own

• Turning everyday company updates into stories worth pitching
• Writing fast - press notes, pitches, founder quotes, reactive statements
• Reaching out to journalists and actually getting responses (not just sending mails into the void)
• Managing follow-ups, nudges, and last-minute asks without things slipping
• Tracking what lands, what doesnt - and figuring out why
• Being on top of the news cycle to plug us into relevant conversations

What this role needs (beyond basics)

• You have a nose for whats a story vs whats noise
• Youre comfortable with ambiguity half the time the brief wont be perfect
• You can handle pressure / quick turnarounds without panicking
• You dont wait for instructions you push things forward
• You care about outcomes (coverage, quality), not just activity

Everyone at Leap is entrepreneurial, moves fast and operates with extreme ownership.
