Job Responsibilities:

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

1. Project Development & Execution

• Lead execution of greenfield and brownfield projects including plant expansion, automation upgrades, fast fulfilment centers, sort centers, and grocery delivery hubs.
• Manage end-to-end lifecycle from concept design, vendor finalization, erection, commissioning, stabilization, and handover.
• Drive project planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and resource deployment.

2. Industrial Automation & Industry 4.0 Implementation

• Lead deployment of Track & Trace systems, AIDC solutions, IoT devices, RFID-RTLS systems, and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
• Implement automation packages including:
• PLC, HMI, SCADA systems
• Industrial automation and servo controls
• Zebra MotionWorks Enterprise (ZMWE)
• Ensure seamless integration with communication protocols such as:
• Profibus, Profinet
• Modbus
• Ethernet
• Optical and RF communication

3. Electrical & Instrumentation Commissioning

• Oversee erection and commissioning of:
• HT/LT electrical systems
• LSIG protection systems
• VVF drives, ABB ACS800, Siemens GL 120-150
• Motors, roller drives, servo controls
• HVAC and machine cooling systems
• Plant instrumentation
• Ensure proper commissioning of VVF converters and industrial automation panels.

4. Manufacturing & Process Operations

• Manage manufacturing operations including:
• Production shift management
• Commission and stabilize:

5. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

• Lead SOP/SMP preparation and standardization.
• Conduct breakdown analysis and reliability enhancement.
• Implement IBA condition monitoring systems.
• Drive TQM initiatives using:
• Kaizen
• QC tools
• JH
• 5S
• Establish preventive and predictive maintenance frameworks.

6. Storage & Infrastructure Systems

• Oversee installation and commissioning of:
• Storage racking systems
• Automation material handling systems
• Smart warehousing infrastructure

7. Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Coordinate with engineering, production, safety, quality, and procurement teams.
• Manage OEMs, automation vendors, electrical contractors, and system integrators.
• Ensure safety, statutory compliance, and quality benchmarks during project execution.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• On-time completion of greenfield/brownfield projects
• Budget adherence and cost optimization
• Zero major safety incidents during execution
• Successful automation integration without operational disruption
• Reduction in breakdown frequency and downtime
• Continuous improvement impact (OEE, productivity, cost savings)

Experience & Qualification

• 13+ years of diversified experience in:
• Project development (Greenfield & Brownfield)
• Industrial automation & Industry 4.0
• Manufacturing plant operations
• Electrical & instrumentation commissioning
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in steel, rebar manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments preferred
