Project Manager

Role Overview

Were seeking a strategic and action-oriented Project Manager to lead the rollout of a University Program in partnership with a Tech Giant. The role requires hands-on leadership in building a field team, engaging with colleges, streamlining operations, and meeting onboarding and student selection targets.

Key Responsibilities

Team Building & Leadership

Hire, onboard, and mentor a team of Project Coordinators/Field Executives.

Set clear objectives, performance standards, and reporting structures.

Ensure team alignment with project goals and timelines.

College Outreach Oversight

Develop and execute a college outreach roadmap for the region.

Guide the team in identifying, visiting, and onboarding educational institutions.

Handle high-level meetings with college administration where required.

Student Shortlisting Oversight

Supervise and standardize the student selection process.

Ensure quality and consistency in shortlisted candidates across campuses.

Support the team in executing outreach events and info sessions in colleges.

Operational & Project Management

Track regional targets (college onboarding and student nominations) and ensure timely execution.

Maintain reports, dashboards, and documentation for leadership review.

Address field-level challenges, escalations, and institutional concerns proactively.

Stakeholder Coordination

Liaise with internal leadership, regional partners, and college authorities.

Represent the project at institutional or community events if required.

Requirements

Graduate degree in any discipline; Masters or MBA preferred.

46 years of experience in project management, campus outreach, education programs, or team leadership roles.

Proven experience in building and managing a team.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management skills.

Comfortable with field travel and fast-paced execution.

Strong organizational and problem-solving ability.

Preferred Experience

Background in educational initiatives, ambassador programs, CSR outreach, or edtech.

Familiarity with regional academic institutions and student communities.

Understanding of tools, reporting systems and dashboards.

This is a contractual role for 6-8 months.
