Job Description

  • Oversee project planning, design, and execution from excavation to completion.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and milestones.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, building codes, and quality requirements.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support to drive high performance.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and efficiencies.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and vendors to ensure cost-effective delivery and resolve project-related conflicts and issues.
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress to ensure quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Develop and implement project quality control plans and procedures.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Develop and implement project knowledge management plans and procedures.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's project management methodology and procedures.
  • Coordinate with architect team to ensure design intent is met and changes are managed effectively.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Civil Engineering

Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, software, budgeting, cost management, financial reporting, building codes, regulations, quality standards, construction methods, materials, and equipment.

Skills

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, Procore)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience

  • 10-14 years of experience in project management, preferably in the real estate industry. Experience in leading and mentoring project teams.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects from excavation to closure.
