Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Windchill Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of PTC Windchill PLM implementation, upgrade, migration, and support projects. The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams, stakeholders, vendors, and project governance while ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end Windchill implementation, upgrade, migration, and enhancement projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones.
• Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure successful project delivery aligned with business goals and PLM strategy.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, engineering teams, IT leadership, and external vendors.
• Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committee reviews, and status reporting.
• Communicate project status, risks, mitigation plans, and key decisions to senior management.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and drive consensus across teams.

Team Leadership

• Coordinate activities of Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Developers, Administrators, Testers, and Support teams.
• Lead project meetings, sprint reviews, and project checkpoints.
• Ensure effective collaboration among global and cross-functional teams.
• Support resource planning, onboarding, and team performance management.

Budget & Resource Management

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking.
• Monitor resource utilization and capacity planning.
• Ensure optimal allocation of project resources.
• Track project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.

Risk & Quality Management

• Identify project risks and establish mitigation strategies.
• Manage issue escalation and resolution processes.
• Ensure compliance with organizational project management standards and quality processes.
• Oversee testing, deployment, and post-production support activities.

Windchill Program Oversight

• Drive delivery of key Windchill modules including:
• PDMLink
• ProjectLink
• MPMLink
• Change Management
• Document Management
• Workflow & Lifecycle Management
• CAD Data Management
• BOM Management
• Coordinate Windchill upgrades, migrations, and integration initiatives.
