Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly capable Project Coordinator to be deployed at a leading bank, acting as the single point of coordination between the bank, fintech product teams, and multiple internal/external stakeholders.
This role demands strong communication skills in English and Tamil, the ability to engage confidently with senior business leaders as well as technical teams, and a structured approach to driving execution across complex fintech programs.
The ideal candidate will ensure alignment, transparency, and timely co ordination across all workstreams while representing the fintech -paydoh organization at the client site.
Key Responsibilities
1. Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
Act as the primary interface between bank stakeholders, fintech teams, vendors, and implementation partners
Engage with CXOs, business heads, and senior management to provide updates, gather inputs, and drive decisions
Translate business requirements into clear, actionable inputs for technical teams
Facilitate discussions between technical and non-technical stakeholders
2. Program & Delivery Management
Track end-to-end progress of fintech implementation programs (mobile banking, integrations, APIs, etc.)
Ensure milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met across multiple teams
Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks; proactively drive resolution
Maintain structured reporting (daily/weekly status, RAID logs, dashboards)
3. Requirement & Solution Alignment
Work closely with bank users to understand functional requirements and operational challenges
Coordinate with product, support engineering, and QA teams to ensure correct implementation
Support production release, enhancement, planning, execution, and closure
4. Governance & Documentation
Prepare and present status reports, meeting minutes, and executive summaries
Ensure proper documentation ofdecisions, and change requests
Maintain audit-ready records aligned with banking compliance standards as part of paydoh engagement
5. Onsite Representation & Relationship Management
Represent the fintech organization at the client location with professionalism and ownership
Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across business, IT, operations, support and compliance teams
Drive trust, transparency, and long-term partnership with the bank
Key Skills & Competencies
- Communication & Interpersonal
- Strong verbal and written communication in English and Tamil (mandatory)
- Ability to confidently interact with senior executives and technical architects
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
Functional & Domain
- Good understanding of banking systems, fintech products, APIs, and digital platforms
- Familiarity with mobile banking, payments, onboarding, or core banking integrations
- Exposure to regulatory and compliance environments is a plus
Execution & Problem-Solving
- Strong coordination and multitasking ability across parallel workstreams
- Ability to manage ambiguity and drive structured outcomes
- Proactive issue identification and resolution mindset
Tools & Methodologies
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Excel dashboards, or similar
- Strong documentation and reporting discipline
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering, IT, or related field
MBA or equivalent is a plus
Prior experience working onsite at bank/client location preferred
