Role Overview
The Project Coordinator with 3 Years of working experience who will support the planning, monitoring, and execution of construction and infrastructure projects by coordinating with project teams, consultants, contractors, and clients. The role involves managing project dashboards, tracking approvals, collecting and consolidating site data, monitoring project progress, and ensuring timely flow of information for effective decision-making.
The position requires strong organizational and communication skills along with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project activities simultaneously.
Key Objectives
- Liaise with project managers, consultants, contractors, and clients to define project requirements, deliverables, and timelines aligned with organizational objectives.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure projects remain within approved scope, schedule, and budget.
- Monitor project progress and identify delays, risks, and bottlenecks, while supporting corrective actions.
- Facilitate timely approvals, clearances, and submission of documents required for project execution.
- Maintain project dashboards for management review and decision-making.
- Support achievement of organizational goals while adhering to established standards, procedures, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update project dashboards and progress trackers.
- Coordinate with site teams to obtain progress updates, photographs, approvals, measurements, and other relevant project information.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines and report deviations to management.
- Follow up with internal departments, consultants, contractors, and external agencies for obtaining required approvals and clearances.
- Maintain project performance databases and documentation related to progress, costs, approvals, risks, and key decisions.
- Prepare presentations, reports, meeting minutes, and action trackers for review meetings.
- Coordinate resource allocation and monitor utilization to improve project efficiency.
- Identify project risks and escalate issues to appropriate management channels as per the project work plan.
- Serve as the primary communication link between project teams, consultants, contractors, vendors, and management.
- Support contract administration, document control, and project correspondence.
- Assist in monitoring project budgets, expenditures, and overall project performance.
- Ensure all project activities are organized and executed in accordance with project schedules and deliverable requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination or project management support roles.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in an architectural consultancy firm or construction consultancy organization.
- Knowledge and experience in preparation or review of DPRs (Detailed Project Reports), BOQs (Bills of Quantities), estimates, and tender documentation will be preferred.
