Project Architect (Residential Projects)

A residential design-build and turnkey construction company in Adambakkam, Chennai is hiring an Architect with 35 years of professional experience to contribute to residential design, technical documentation, consultant coordination, and project execution. The role involves working across multiple project stages, from concept development and design documentation through construction coordination and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Develop architectural concepts, layout plans, and design proposals based on project requirements

Prepare design development drawings, working drawings, and construction documentation

Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants throughout project development

Support the preparation of BOQs, technical documentation, and drawing revisions where required

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and site teams during project execution

Participate in site visits to review progress, resolve technical issues, and support design implementation

Assist in design presentations, material selections, and project coordination activities

Review drawings and documentation for accuracy, coordination, and compliance with project requirements

Maintain organized project documentation throughout different stages of design and execution

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture

35 years of professional experience in residential architecture, design-build, or turnkey construction projects

Proficiency in AutoCAD and other architectural design and visualization software

Experience preparing design development drawings, working drawings, and construction documentation

Understanding of residential planning, construction methods, building materials, and execution practices

Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, engineers, and site teams

Strong technical documentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills

Work Schedule

• Location: Adambakkam, Chennai
• Working days: Monday - Saturday (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
