Location: Bangalore

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead the Global Asset Physical Verification (APV) program. This role goes beyond routine asset tracking and focuses on ensuring alignment between financial records and physical assets through a robust audit and verification framework.

The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison across Finance, IT, Supply Chain, and Operations, driving governance, compliance, and complete visibility across the asset lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Strategy & Design

• Define and implement a standardized global framework for physical verification of assets
• Establish SOPs for asset tracking, reconciliation, and disposal processes
• Evaluate and implement technologies such as RFID, barcoding, or IoT for automation

2. Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with Finance & Accounting to reconcile physical assets with the Fixed Asset Register (FAR)
• Coordinate with site operations teams to ensure smooth execution of verification activities
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, ensuring data accuracy and compliance

3. Execution & Governance

• Manage and execute asset verification programs across multiple locations/regions
• Define and track KPIs such as accuracy rate, variance %, and asset recovery value
• Lead investigation and resolution of discrepancies, including missing or unaccounted assets

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 8-15 years in Program Management, Asset Management, or Internal Audit
• Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of the fixed asset lifecycle (procurement to disposal)
• Stakeholder Management: Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams
• Technical Skills: Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and strong analytical skills (Excel/SQL)
• Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain (PMP/CIA preferred)
