Role Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and execution-focused Program Manager Manufacturing Operations to serve as the central coordination point between Procurement, Production, Packaging, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.

The role is responsible for ensuring that production plans are executed on time, materials are available when required, packaging readiness is maintained, manufacturing yields are optimized, and finished goods are delivered OTIF (On Time In Full).

This individual will not directly manage these functions but will drive alignment, accountability, visibility, and execution across all stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a strong operator who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, can manage multiple stakeholders, and uses data to drive decisions and solve problems.

Key Responsibilities

Cross-Functional Program Management

• Act as the central coordination point between Procurement, Production, Packaging, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Ensure all functions are aligned to weekly and monthly production plans.
• Conduct regular production readiness reviews and execution meetings.
• Identify bottlenecks and proactively drive resolution before they impact production or dispatches.
• Track action items and hold stakeholders accountable for delivery.

Production Execution

• Monitor daily and weekly production performance against plan.
• Ensure timely execution of manufacturing schedules.
• Escalate issues impacting production output, capacity, or timelines.
• Drive adherence to production commitments across plants and co-manufacturers.

Yield & Efficiency Management

• Track production yields across products and manufacturing lines.
• Analyze material consumption versus standards.
• Identify yield losses, wastage drivers, and process inefficiencies.
• Work with Production and Quality teams to improve operational performance.

Procurement & Material Readiness

• Ensure critical raw materials and packaging materials are available as per production requirements.
• Track material availability risks and drive mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with Procurement teams to avoid production disruptions.

Packaging Readiness

• Monitor packaging material availability and artwork readiness.
• Ensure packaging plans are synchronized with production schedules.
• Escalate delays that may impact manufacturing or dispatch timelines.

OTIF & Supply Chain Performance

• Drive OTIF (On Time In Full) performance across the supply chain.
• Monitor dispatch adherence against customer commitments.
• Track supply chain performance metrics and service levels.
• Work with Supply Chain teams to address fulfillment risks.

Performance Analytics & Governance

• Develop and maintain operational dashboards.
• Track key KPIs across procurement, production, packaging, and supply chain.
• Present weekly and monthly performance reviews to leadership.
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring issues.

Qualifications

• Engineer/ MBA preferably from a premier institute
• 15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain, program management, or factory operations
