Exide Energy Solutions Limited (EESL) is one of the fastest growing companies who has vision to solve social issues regarding energy, environment, resource, etc with producing lithium-ion battery products. Exide Energy Solutions Ltd is setting up Indias first Giga plant to manufacture Lithium Ion Cells in Bengaluru.

Purpose/Objective:

The candidate needs to function under PMO, delivering successful Projects within in agreed timelines by mitigating risks and proper stakeholder management.

Roles and Responsibility:

Program Execution & Delivery

• Manage end-to-end program execution, ensuring adherence to defined timelines, scope, and budget.
• Work closely with engineering, R&D, procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of Li-Ion battery pack programs.
• Track program progress, resolve bottlenecks, and escalate critical issues to senior leadership when required.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product Management, Operations, and Sales teams, to align program objectives.
• Ensure seamless coordination between different departments to meet customer and business requirements.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business functions to streamline workflows.

Customer & Vendor Engagement

• Engage with customers for program updates, requirement gathering, and issue resolution.
• Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
• Support Sales teams in customer interactions related to program commitments.

Risk Management

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure program stability.
• Troubleshoot program challenges and work on corrective actions.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure programs adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal Quality Processes.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, risk registers, and status updates.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors or masters degree in engineering

Preferred specializations: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics.

• 3 8 years of experience in Program or Project Management

Industry preference:

Manufacturing

Automotive / EV (Electric Vehicle)

Energy storage / battery industry

Industrial engineering environments

Mandatory Skills:

Project Management (Any tool), Planning, Excellent communication skills, Excellent presentation skills.
