AAWAJ is looking for passionate and committed professionals to join our team working in the field of child protection and support to POCSO survivors.


We are currently hiring for Program Coordinator (Full-time)


This program focuses on providing comprehensive restorative care to child survivors of sexual abuse, ensuring psychosocial and legal support throughout the justice process. If you are driven to make a meaningful impact and work closely with children, families, and government systems, we encourage you to apply.


Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh


Key Functions & Responsibilities

Liaise with authorities such as Police, Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Juvenile Justice Board (JJB), and medical professionals.

Maintain case documentation, MIS, and regular progress reports.

Organize training and capacity-building programs for staff and stakeholders.

Coordinate school visits for awareness sessions and teacher orientations.

Participate in review meetings, data collection, and action research.

Provide psychosocial and rehabilitation support to children and families.

Assist in filing FIRs and coordinate legal support with lawyers/DLSA.

Accompany children/families during court proceedings and ensure witness protection.


Qualifications


Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field; or a graduate with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience.

Proficiency in MS Office with strong written and spoken English and Hindi.

Sound knowledge of child protection laws and commitment to child rights.

Strong interpersonal skills with a sensitive and diplomatic approach.

Willingness to work in challenging environments, including late hours when required.

Minimum commitment of 2 years preferred.

Must own a vehicle and be ready to travel on short notice.


Remuneration 30000 per month.
