Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Merchant, located at Coitonics office in Jaipur. The Production Merchant will oversee and coordinate production processes from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality fitness apparel. Key responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, monitoring inventory and production timelines, assisting in design communication, sourcing materials, and maintaining quality standards. The role involves active collaboration with design, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to optimize production efficiency and meet business requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with production management, vendor coordination, and procurement
• Strong knowledge of textile materials, quality control processes, and supply chain management
• Proficient in inventory monitoring and production scheduling
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail in fast-paced production environments
• Proficiency in relevant software tools for production tracking and data analysis is a plus
• Bachelors degree in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Production, or related field is preferred but not mandatory
• Prior experience in activewear or e-commerce industries is advantageous

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for raw materials and production timelines
• Monitor production processes to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Follow up on order status and maintain production schedules
• Ensure product quality meets company standards
• Handle sampling, approvals, and production execution
• Maintain proper documentation related to production and dispatch
• Coordinate with warehouse, design, and sales teams
• Resolve production-related issues efficiently
• Costing and price negotiation with vendors
