More about the Role

• Perform the necessary control activities to ensure that the production processes or services within the scope of the assigned department are carried out in accordance with the relevant technologies
• Document production parameters, test results, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with R&D teams to transfer new processes into production and continuously improve existing methods
• Analyze technological parameters and output parameters for individual processes, solve technological and technical problems, supervise the technological discipline of individual processes
• Analyze characterization results (SEM, TEM, XPS, spectrophotometer, nanoindentation) and interpret the results to validate coating performance
• Train and support production staff on coating techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures
• Analyze customer feedback and quality claims, identify root causes, and initiate and follow up corrective action plans in coordination with relevant stakeholders

All About You

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, Nanotechnology, Optics & Photonics, or Physics/Engineering
• Hands-on experience with thin film deposition techniques (CVD, PVD, MSVD) in a production or laboratory setting
• Practical knowledge of characterization methods (SEM, TEM, XPS, spectrophotometer, nanoindentation)
• Ability to operate, calibrate, and maintain production equipment
• Familiarity with optical modeling and data analysis software (OTF, CODE, OPTILAYER, SPEOS, Minitab)
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to follow standard operating procedures
• Good communication skills in English and ability to work effectively in a team
• Willingness to work in a production environment with shift-based schedules if required
