Production Engineer

About the Role :

We are looking for a motivated Foundry Engineer to oversee and improve foundry operations, ensuring high-quality casting production, process efficiency, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Our ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in foundry processes with strong technical knowledge of metallurgy, molding, melting, and casting operations. Experience in centrifugal casting will be considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day foundry operations including melting, molding, pouring, and finishing processes
• Monitor and control process parameters to ensure consistent casting quality
• Troubleshoot casting defects such as shrinkage, porosity, cracks, and inclusions
• Implement process improvements to reduce rejection rate and increase productivity
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Coordinate with production, quality control, and maintenance teams
• Maintain process documentation and production reports
• Assist in developing new casting processes and product development
• Optimize raw material usage and control production costs

Requirements: & Skills :

• Minimum 3 years of experience in foundry operations
• Strong understanding of metallurgy and casting processes
• Knowledge of molding materials, and furnace operations along with Melting of Non Ferrous Copper and Alloy
• Experience in quality inspection techniques and defect analysis
• Familiarity with centrifugal casting processes (preferred/added advantage)
