Product & Solution Security Expert (PSSE)
Understand regional and local country security guidelines and regulatory security requirements to ensures that products, solutions, systems, and services are designed, implemented, and delivered securely throughout their entire lifecycle (Design, R&D, Engineering , delivery and end customer deployment).
PSSEs act as security specialists embedded in development, engineering, integration, testing, manufacturing, delivery, commissioning, and service organizations, providing technical expertise, guidance, and oversight to reduce cybersecurity risk.
The PSSE works closely ,Products teams, technical proposals teams, R&D teams, engineering teams, end customer projects and solutioning teams, and management to apply industryleading security practices and ensure compliance with security standards, processes, and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Architecture & Design for end customer solutioning and product R&D
- Perform threat and risk analyses for products, solutions, and services.
- Translate security requirements into technical designs and architectural controls.
- Advise on secure design decisions, using PSS Guidelines and best practices.
Secure product R&D and Implementation
- Guide development teams in secure coding, configuration, and deployment.
- Validate implementation of security controls and ensure alignment with PSS standards.
Secure products and solutions Testing
- Conduct security testing activities, including vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
- Drive remediation and track vulnerabilities through the lifecycle.
Secure Project Integration and execution
- Expert contributions in integration of security requirements in end customer and internal projects.
- Define and design secure solution architecture for end customer deployments.
- Ensure security controls are implemented throughout delivery and commissioning phases.
Incident & Vulnerability Management across product R&D and end customer solutions
- Support incident analysis and coordinated vulnerability disclosure processes.
- Contribute to corrective action planning and longterm security improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 to 5 years professional experience in cybersecurity or a closely related technical field.
- Depp knowledge of security standards like 62443, NERC CIP for power grid and renewable energy domain
- Deep technical understanding in at least one domain (e.g., software engineering, IT/OT security, networking, system design).
- Ability to communicate complex security topics clearly and teach others.
- Deep knowledge of secure design principles and cybersecurity principles
Education:
Engineering Degree in Computer science, Electrical, Electronics or equivalent field
