Product Manager

About the Role

As a Product Manager you will own the product for three interconnected portals in the Deposit Return Scheme ecosystem: Manufacturer Portal (brand compliance with DRS), Scheme Administrator Portal (scheme configuration and monitoring), and Facility Portal (QR printing operations).

This role involves understanding a complex ecosystem of manufacturers, facilities, and compliance workflows. You will work with business, operations, design, engineering, and external partners to identify friction, ship fixes, and build features that drive adoption. You must understand and enforce platform values: configurability, modularity, and scale.

What You'll Do

• Define and manage configuration hierarchies across SA, brand, and facility levels
• Understand and enforce platform values: configurability, modularity, and ability to scale across deployments
• Work with business, ops, design, engineering, peer PMs, and external partners to resolve friction
• Understand multiple user personas within a single manufacturer account (Finance, Operations, QA, Procurement, Regulatory)
• Develop working understanding of hardware integrations and their platform touchpoints
• Contribute to GTM by identifying product-led levers for onboarding and compliance
• Write specs, work with engineering, make scope calls when timelines are fixed

What You'll Need

• 3-5 years in product management, with at least 2 years on B2B or enterprise platforms
• Experience with multi-tenant systems where configuration varies by customer/account type
• Comfort with ambiguitycan make decisions with incomplete information and course-correct
• Familiarity with payment flows, ledger systems, or financial reconciliation
• Can think through data models and how entities relate (brands facilities SKUs QRs)
• Understands what it means to build for configurability and reuse vs. single use cases
• Technical understanding sufficient to have informed conversations with engineering
• Can work across business, ops, design, engineering, and external partners
• Either: experience with AI agents/LLMs, or demonstrated appetite to learn

What Would Be a Plus

• Regulatory/compliance products (environmental schemes, EPR, mandates)
• Hardware-software integration (industrial printers, IoT, inspection systems)
• QR/barcode/track-and-trace systems
• FMCG or manufacturing supply chains
