We are looking for a Product Engineer who will take ownership of our lighting product portfolio, including product drawings, technical datasheets, installation manuals, catalogue information, and website product data.

This role involves working closely with product designers and mechanical engineers and ensuring all product information, drawings, and documentation are accurate, organized, and updated.

This is a high ownership role with responsibility similar to managing a product line.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

Product Documentation & Technical Data

Prepare product datasheets and technical specifications

Create and maintain installation manuals

Maintain product specification database (Excel)

Standardize product specification formats

Ensure accuracy of technical product information

Drawings & Technical Coordination

Review and maintain AutoCAD / SolidWorks drawings

Coordinate with product designers and mechanical engineers for drawings

Maintain drawing versions and documentation

Ensure all products have proper drawings and installation details

Product Catalogue & Website

Maintain product catalogue information

Upload and update product data on website

Maintain product folders, images, datasheets, drawings, manuals

Organize product information systematically

Product Development Support

Study international lighting products and trends

Suggest improvements and new product ideas

Help structure product categories and product naming

Support development of new lighting products

Team Coordination & Ownership

Follow up with designers and engineers for drawings and data

Ensure deadlines are met for product documentation

Take ownership of product information and documentation systems

Improve organization of product data and documentation over time

Required Skills

Must Have:

AutoCAD

SolidWorks / Fusion 360 (basic level acceptable)

Excel (very important)

Basic mechanical drawings understanding

Good English writing skills

Good organization and file management

Attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks

Good to Have:

Product design experience

Lighting industry knowledge

Dialux

Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop

Catalogue / Datasheet preparation

Website CMS upload

Documentation / Technical writing
