Product Engineer — Flutter / Mobile App

Were looking for a hands-on Product Engineer to work directly with the founder from our Noida office on IndieAn, a gamified music learning platform.

We need someone who can build, debug, think, test, and own parts of the product like an early team member. Youll be working closely on the actual app experience, from fixing critical issues to building new features that shape how users learn music.

The role will begin as a 23 month contract, with the possibility of converting into a full-time founding team role based on performance, ownership, communication, and overall fit.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve core app features in Flutter/mobile
• Debug iOS and Android app issues, build problems, and audio/detection-related bugs
• Work on onboarding, the hero moment, lessons, games, subscriptions, rewards, and user progression
• Coordinate with remote developers, music-tech contributors, designers, and QA
• Test builds on real iOS and Android devices and catch issues before users do
• Document setup, architecture, workflows, and release processes
• Help prepare IndieAn for beta, launch, and V2 production
• Eventually grow into an internal tech/product owner for IndieAn

Must Have

• Strong Flutter/mobile app development experience
• Ability to understand and debug an existing codebase quickly
• Experience with APIs, Firebase/backend integrations, authentication, subscriptions, and app deployment
• Comfort testing on real iOS and Android devices
• Strong communication and daily execution discipline
• Builder mindset: able to take unclear problems and turn them into working product

Bonus

• Experience with audio, microphone input, latency, MIDI, or music-tech
• Experience with game-like apps, gamification, animations, or edtech
• Experience building early-stage products from 0 to 1
• Comfort working closely with a founder in a fast-moving environment

Location

Noida office.

This role needs in-person collaboration because IndieAn is entering a phase where speed, product feel, and debugging cannot depend only on remote communication.
