About Slikk

Slikk is a new age fashion marketplace built for Gen-Z and young millennials, delivering the latest styles to your doorstep in just 60 minutes. The platform brings together curated trends and innovative homegrown brands across apparel, accessories, and footwear.

Backed by leading early-stage investors, Slikk is reimagining fashion commerce by combining speed, curation, and discovery. As a 01 startup, every team member plays a critical role in shaping the future of how India shops for fashion and other lifestyle categories like BPC, Home, Luggage, Accessories & more.

What You Will Do

As a Product Designer at Slikk, you will own the surface where most of Slikk actually happens the app. Youll sit close to the founders, product managers and engineers, and design the next version of how India shops fashion. Less polish-by-committee. More shipping things that change how the app feels by Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the app, end to end. Take flows, screens, components and micro-interactions from a half-thought to a thing in production. As you go, sharpen the systems and patterns so the next designer is faster than the last.
  • Solve the unglamorous problems too. A great PDP is fashion. A great returns flow is also fashion.
  • Sit with edge cases until the hard ones feel easy.
  • Make taste a measurable thing. Define what success looks like up front, watch how real shoppers use what you ship, and let the funnel point to the next iteration. Trust your eye and trust the data.
  • Be the designer in the room. Bring a clear point of view to product, growth and category conversations. Argue for the user. Push back when something doesnt feel like Slikk.

What You Will Need

  • Experience: 13 years of product design, with a portfolio that proves you have shipped real consumer apps. Mobile-first thinking is non-negotiable.
  • Design Skills: A genuine eye for type, spacing, hierarchy and craft. Editorial sensibility is welcome. So is a high tolerance for redoing the same screen until it lands.
  • User-Centric Focus: A working understanding of how shoppers actually behave what they tap, where they drop off, why the same person browses six times before they buy. Comfortable running your own research and usability sessions to find out.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong at framing the right problem and prototyping your way to an answer.
  • Less precious about ideas, more committed to outcomes.
  • Communication: You can walk a non-designer through a decision and have them nodding by the end. You write your screens as well as you draw them micro-copy is design at Slikk.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working in a tight loop with product, engineering, category and ops. You know when to async, when to ask, and when to just hop on a call.
  • Data-Driven: You read dashboards, sit with session recordings, and treat the numbers as a partner in the work. You also know when to override them.

Good to Have

  • Experience designing for fashion, beauty, lifestyle or commerce bonus points if it was a place where speed mattered.
  • A stint at an early-stage startup, where shipping the first version was your job and the second version was also your job.
  • A point of view you have put out into the world. A design blog, a teardown thread, a side project that actually says something. We like designers who think out loud.
