Product Design Intern

Role Details -

Internship Summary -

We are looking for a driven and inspired Design Interns at CropIn Technology Solutions, one of the worlds leading AI led AgriTech SAAS companies, with a vision to disrupt the Agricultural & Food Production sectors. We are looking for passionate, self driven, trained in design methodologies, individuals who constantly strive to make a meaningful impact in the overall outcome.

As a Design Intern at CropIn, you would have a great learning environment where you can sharpen your skills in Product, UX Design and Research, in defining & designing the product vision to help create and improve B2B and B2B2C applications for both web and mobile interfaces.

Principal Accountabilities -

As part of the Design Team at CropIn, you would work closely with a multidisciplinary team, consisting of Designers, Researchers, UX Writers, Content Strategists, Product Managers and Engineers, and garner insights about user needs, attitudes, behaviors, and use those insights to create inspirational design, align with product strategy, & increase customer engagement. You would be expected to collaborate with teams across operational boundaries, and would have an impact at all levels of product development, with your focus on three things - quality, usability and simplicity.

If you have experience in using UX tools like Figma, Sketch, etc amongst others, and can combine a creative approach with knowledge on design process to convert bright ideas into functional prototypes, we are looking for you, to create intuitive, inspired design, magical to behold and to use.

Required Background -

We are looking for candidates from reputed design schools & universities, who have been through a graduate level design education with hands-on experience in applying industry level tools and methods.

Best fit profile -

• Good working knowledge on Product Design Process, i.e. User Research, IA, Usability Testing, Task Analysis, Conceptual Design, Design Sprints
• Ability to conduct UX research, including trend analysis and secondary research
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with prototyping and high-fidelity UI design
• Understanding of how to collaborate with engineering teams on POCs and implementation feasibility
• Experience in design tools (Figma, Sketch etc.)
• Exposure to Agile and SCRUM methodologies
• Exposure working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams in understanding the scope, gathering requirements and translating them into scalable, implementable design solutions
• Domain knowledge or experience in Agritech
• Experience working on B2B products
• Familiarity with designing for low-connectivity or constraint-heavy environments
• Exposure to dashboards, analytics tools, or data-intensive products
• Understanding of design systems, scalability, and consistency across platforms
