Role summary
Were hiring a hands-on Product Analyst to join the Product Analytics team and support product
measurement across Demandbases product portfolio. The analyst will partner with PMs,
engineers, data science, UX, and GTM teams to design experiments, define success, build
reliable metrics and dashboards, and translate mixed-method research into prioritized product
recommendations. This is an execution-first role: own analyses, instrumentation checks, cohort
work, experiment review, and core analytics tooling maintenance while helping scale
measurement practices across products.
What youll do
Support product measurement across all products: Work with the Product Analytics
team and product teams to translate strategy into OKRs, hypotheses, and a practical
metric set (adoption, engagement, and business impact).
Design & analyze experiments: Own experiment setup, power calculations, metric
definitions, and post-test analysis for A/B tests and quasi-experimental designs.
Product analytics & tooling: Build and maintain repeatable datasets, dashboards, and
reports (Looker/Fullstory). Validate event instrumentation and help standardize event
schemas and metric definitions. Maintain FullStory (administration, session replay
hygiene, segment management, and collaboration with teams to ensure useful session
data).
Business strategy partnership with PMs: Act as a strategic analytics partner to
product managers help translate company and product strategy into measurable
objectives, prioritize initiatives based on impact and effort, identify leading indicators that
link product activity to business outcomes, and present tradeoffs and recommendations
that inform roadmaps.
Mixed-methods research: Combine quantitative analysis (funnels, cohorts,
time-to-action, conversion metrics) with qualitative research (usability tests, stakeholder
interviews) to surface root causes and product opportunities.
Cross-functional partnership: Communicate findings clearly to PMs, engineering, UX,
data science, sales, and CS. Help teams prioritize experiments and operationalize
successful changes.
Operationalize best practices: Help document and scale measurement standards and
experiment playbooks so product teams can move faster with consistent metrics and
Clarity.
What were looking for (required)
25 years in product analytics, data analysis, or experimentation in a B2B SaaS
environment.
Strong analytical judgment and business-strategy thinking. Able to frame analyses in
terms of product and company goals and advise PMs on prioritization and tradeoffs.
Comfortable with SQL and able to produce reproducible datasets..
Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and other causal evaluation methods.
Experience maintaining or administering product observability tools (FullStory or
equivalent) and creating dashboards/reports in Looker/Power BI/Tableau.
Clear communicator who can present technical analysis in a concise, collaborative way
and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
Nice-to-haves
Familiarity with instrumentation platforms and downstream data pipelines.
Prior work with data science teams on model evaluation and monitoring.
