Job Description
Job Title: Procurement Intern
Location: 2nd Floor, Plot No. 21, Electrical, Electronics & Instruments Industries, Perungudi, Sholinganallur, Seevaram, OMR, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600096
Duration: 3 Months
Stipend: 7,000 per month
Language Requirement:
Fluency in Tamil, English, and Hindi is mandatory
Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to support our procurement team. The intern will assist in vendor coordination, purchase order management, and maintaining procurement records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing and identifying potential vendors
- Support in preparing and processing purchase orders
- Maintain and update procurement records and documentation
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations and delivery follow-ups
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Support the team in cost analysis and comparison of quotations
Requirements:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, or related field
- Interest in procurement, supply chain, or operations
