We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Associate to support procurement operations, vendor coordination, and supply chain activities for engineering and solar projects.

The Procurement Associate will be responsible for supporting end-to-end procurement activities including vendor sourcing, purchase coordination, material tracking, and documentation management. The candidate should possess strong coordination skills, technical understanding, and the ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.

• Assist in procurement of engineering and project-related materials and services.
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions, RFQs, comparative statements, and purchase orders.
• Coordinate with vendors for quotations, negotiations, deliveries, and documentation.
• Ensure timely procurement aligned with project requirements and timelines.

• Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.
• Maintain vendor database and procurement records.
• Support vendor onboarding and compliance documentation processes.
• Develop strong vendor relationships for smooth procurement execution.

• Track material dispatches, deliveries, and inventory status.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for timely movement of materials.
• Support inventory planning and material reconciliation activities.
• Assist in resolving supply chain and delivery-related issues.

• Work closely with engineering, finance, and project execution teams.
• Understand technical specifications and procurement requirements.
• Support cost optimization and procurement efficiency initiatives.

• Maintain procurement documentation, contracts, invoices, and MIS reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures.
• Prepare periodic procurement and vendor performance reports.

• B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Candidates from premier institutes such as National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and other reputed engineering institutions will be preferred.
