Job Title: PCB Layout Design Engineer (Cadence Allegro)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled PCB Layout Design Engineer with hands-on expertise in Cadence Allegro PCB Designer. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in high-speed board design, HDI layouts, and a solid understanding of manufacturing and assembly principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop PCB layouts using Cadence Allegro PCB Designer.
• Work on high-speed digital designs, including PCIe Gen5/Gen6 and DDR5 interfaces.
• Apply constraint-driven design methodologies to ensure signal integrity and performance.
• Perform best-case analysis to proactively identify and mitigate design risks.
• Ensure PCB designs meet DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) requirements.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including hardware, SI/PI, and manufacturing teams.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement in design practices.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5 to 8 years in PCB layout design.
• Tool Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Cadence Allegro PCB Designer.
• Schematic Knowledge: Basic understanding of schematic design using Allegro Concept HDL / OrCAD Capture.
• Technical Skills:Expertise in high-speed interface design (PCIe Gen5/6, DDR5)
• Experience in HDI (High-Density Interconnect) layout design
• Strong understanding of DFM & DFA principles
• Analytical Skills: Ability to perform best-case analysis and resolve complex design challenges.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to signal integrity and power integrity concepts
• Experience working in complex, multi-layer board designs
• Familiarity with industry standards and design guidelines
