Principal Designer – Practice Excellence

At Think Design, we have spent over two decades helping organizations solve complex business problems through design. Over time, we have built a strong Experience Design practice rooted in Research, Design Thinking, collaboration, and continuous learning.

As we grow, we are looking for a senior designer who can help strengthen and evolve our design practice at scale.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the CEO and the design leadership team to shape the next phase of Think Designs practice, capabilities, knowledge assets, and strategic initiatives.

It is suited for a practicing designer who enjoys solving complex problems, shaping design approaches, influencing large initiatives, and evolving how experience design is delivered in a changing world.

What Youll Do

Partner with the CEO and design leadership team on strategic design initiatives across Think Design

Contribute to the evolution of our Experience Design practice across UX, UI, Service Design, Customer Experience, Research, and emerging disciplines

Strengthen and evolve Think Designs methodologies, frameworks, toolkits, and ways of working

Help shape new approaches, offerings, and capabilities in response to changing client needs and technology shifts

Contribute to framing complex client challenges, identifying strategic opportunities, and building high-impact proposals

Review and strengthen design thinking, problem framing, solution approaches, and experience strategies across engagements

Drive initiatives that improve design quality, consistency, and thought leadership across the organization

Curate and elevate knowledge assets, case studies, credentials, and thought leadership

Contribute to case studies, publications, and industry narratives that reflect Think Designs point of view

Explore and integrate emerging technologies, including AI, into design processes, workflows, products, and services

Work across teams to enable learning, collaboration, capability building, and innovation

Who Were Looking For

1218 years of experience in Experience Design, UX, Service Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, Design Strategy

Strong hands-on foundation in user-centred design and research-led problem solving

Experience across research, strategy, information architecture, interaction design, service design, UI systems, and customer journeys
