Job Description
Pricing Analyst
Location - Chennai/Bangalore
Role - Fulltime
Years of Experience - 5+
- 5+ years in pricing, finance, or commercial strategy within IT services or consulting
- Hands-on experience pricing large complex deals ($10M+) you build the models yourself
- Experience with outcome-based and value-based commercial models, not just T&M
- Strong cost modeling: fully-loaded costs, utilization economics, blended rates, margin management
- Proven collaboration with HR/Compensation on role-based cost benchmarks
- Experience designing rate cards across global delivery models
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI tools you adopt technology to sharpen your own work
- Executive presence equally at home in a spreadsheet and with Business leaders
LEAD THE AI PRICING REVOLUTION
- Champion AI as the backbone of how Perficient prices intelligent deal scoring, dynamic rate recommendations, scenario modeling
- Partner with Perficient's AI practice to evaluate and deploy AI-powered pricing tools and competitive intelligence platforms
- Build win/loss analytics that create a continuous feedback loop every deal makes the next one smarter
- Be the proof point that AI-first isn't just what Perficient sells it's how Perficient operates internally
PRICE TO WIN LARGE DEAL PRICING
- Own end-to-end pricing for large, complex IT consulting pursuits from strategy through commercial closure
- Partner with Sales, Delivery, and Solution teams to build competitive, margin-accretive deal structures
- Shift the conversation from pricing for effort to pricing for outcomes tying commercial models to client results, not hours delivered
- Develop frameworks to monetize Perficient's AI tools and accelerators ensuring proprietary IP and AI-powered delivery advantages are reflected in deal value, not given away
- Conduct price-to-win analysis; stress-test deal assumptions on staffing mix, blended rates, and risk
BUILD THE BENCHMARKS
- Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition to establish fully-loaded cost baselines by role, level, and geography onshore, nearshore, offshore
- Develop and maintain Perficient's internal rate cards and solution pricing benchmarks across service lines
- Create a deal scoring framework balancing pricing competitiveness, margin quality, and winnability simultaneously
