Position : PRiSM Consultant

Skills :
- Experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer with strong practical problem-solving skills polished within highly regulated industries.
- Hands on experience with conditioned based monitoring for the live assets and able to analyse the probability of causes.
- Proven track record of basic design, detailed engineering and activities relating to project execution of Oil and Gas new build and aftermarket services.
- Experience with Rotating equipment and in particular for refinery, petrochemical and cryogenic projects.
- Experienced in FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, operation, support and trouble shooting.
- Expert in developing and endorsing machinery selection/application and sizing studies for major rotating and static equipment such as fired heaters, distillation columns, compressors and pumps with large prime movers - gas turbines, steam turbines and motors.
- Development of problem centric Advance pattern recognition (APR) models of addressing the pain areas of various plants, COG etc.
The job
The Solution Consultant's primary responsibility is to participate in implementations of AVEVA's Predictive Analyticsportfolio. This role will involve working under the direction of an AVEVA Project Manager and Technical Lead to ensure customer satisfaction and an on-time / on-budget delivery.
Key responsibilities
Supports qualified business capture activities to include: site visits, demonstrations, proof of concepts.
Undertakes data preparation tasks under the guidance of the Project SME and/or technical lead.
Contributes to technical project deliverables, taking responsibility of accuracy and flow of content.
Operates independently based on high level work descriptions. Prioritises activities based on impact to the project.
Predicts obstacles in advance and works to prevent them by altering plans or creating new solutions.
Employs fault diagnosis techniques to assess issues and provide solutions or workarounds.
Manages own time effectively within the scope of work allocated and ensures timely delivery.
Essential requirements
Masters or BS degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or the equivalent
Ideally will have knowledge of AVEVA APA software or Competitive offerings
Experience -2-10 yrs
Desired skills
- Good understanding of solving complex problems, ability to read PnID Diagrams will give advantage.
- Significant Experience providing engineering expertise in the application, operation, inspection and maintenance of plant systems and rotating equipment normally associated with oil & gas facilities and optimizing performance of Chemicals, Oil & Gas facilities (upstream, mid-stream, and/or downstream)
- Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance practices (including software packages such asPRiSM or SmartSignal or its equivalent) for major rotating and static equipment such as compressors and pumps with large prime movers (- gas turbines, steam turbines & motors), Blowers, fans, fired heaters, distillation columns, Transformers, Heat exchangers (including cryogenics) etc.
- Responsible to deliver the models for rotating and static assets for various industries like O&G, Power, cement, Electrical distributionetc.,
- Experienced in FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, operation, support and trouble shooting.
- Has good working knowledge of the Oil & Gas Industry, Power to include EPCs and Owner Operators is preferred.
- Added advantage in several of the following: C#, .NET framework, JavaScript, XML, PowerShell, SQL, SSRS/SSIS, MS Office tools.
- Role: PRiSM Consultant (Solution Consultant) delivering predictive analytics implementations in the Oil & Gas and Power domains.
- Requires a Master's or BS in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, with hands-on rotating equipment and condition-based monitoring experience.
- Key duties include data preparation, technical deliverables, fault diagnosis, and supporting site visits, demos, and proofs of concept.
- Seeks experience with predictive maintenance software such as PRiSM or SmartSignal and development of APR models for rotating and static assets.
- Experience with FAT, SAT, commissioning, troubleshooting, and Occurrence (Trip Out) Analysis with CAPA implementation is expected.
