Job Summary:

Roles and responsibilities:

4+ years of experience in powertrain (Transmission, Driveline, Engine, Fuel, Cooling and Exhaust components).
Must have practical experience in Clearance & Interference checks, Vehicle Integration, Packaging, Flexible part simulation and Design Rules for Powertrain/Vehicle components in 3DX environment.
Geometric compatibility studies encompass static and dynamic checks, clearances, variations, positional correctness, and interface completeness within Teamcenter/Vismockup/CATIA V5/3DX.
Conducting package study evaluations to ensure each vehicle part meets master design requirements prior to manufacturing.
Candidate should have hands-on experience in CAD positioning and ability to interpret technical drawings.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with regional cross-functional teams and resolving CAD or packaging issues.
Familiarity with BOM, program complexity, and flexible part simulation study (Vent, Cooling hoses and Bellows) would be a significant advantage.
