Role Description

This is a contract-based remote role for a Power Platform specialist. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing solutions using the Power Platform tools. The successful candidate will engage in software development, defining solution architecture, and collaborating with teams to fulfill client requirements. Additional responsibilities include contributing to project management, maintaining documentation, and ensuring optimal performance of the delivered solutions.


Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills and a problem-solving mindset for identifying effective solutions
  • Excellent Communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively
  • Proficiency in Software Development and experience with low-code or no-code platforms
  • Experience in Solution Architecture to design scalable and reliable applications
  • Understanding of Project Management principles and the ability to manage timelines
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with a proactive approach to tasks
  • Experience working on IT or software projects for global clients is a plus
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred


Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand automation requirements and deliver effective solutions

Design, develop, and implement workflows using Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop) and PowerApps

Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, SQL Server, Dataverse, and other Microsoft 365 services

Optimize and enhance existing workflows for improved performance and reliability

Ensure automation solutions comply with governance, security, and organizational policies

Provide technical documentation, user training, and post-deployment support

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation processes

Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in Power Platform and automation technologies


Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

Relevant experience in IT with a strong focus on Power Platform


Technical Expertise:

Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop)

PowerApps (Canvas & Model-Driven Apps)

SharePoint Online (Lists, Libraries, Permissions)

Microsoft 365 ecosystem

Integration with third-party APIs and connectors

RPA and UI flows (preferred)

Data sources: SQL Server, Excel, Dataverse

Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python optional)
