Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a PLC Programmer / Automation Engineer based in Pune Division.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLC-based automation systems used in industrial lifting equipment and related machinery. The role involves working closely with the service, maintenance, and engineering teams to implement automation solutions, improve machine performance, and ensure smooth equipment operation.

The candidate will also participate in commissioning activities, electrical troubleshooting, system modifications, and client support as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for industrial automation systems.
• Design and configure HMI interfaces for machine operations and monitoring.
• Perform commissioning, testing, and maintenance of PLC-controlled equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and automation-related issues.
• Work on control panels, sensors, motors, relays, contactors, VFDs, and industrial communication systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams for project execution and troubleshooting.
• Ensure systems comply with industrial safety standards and operational requirements.
• Provide technical support during installation, servicing, and client interactions.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports when required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming, Ladder Logic, and HMI development.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation systems and electrical control panels.
• Experience with troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintaining PLC-controlled machinery.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits, motors, sensors, relays, contactors, and industrial components.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and automation practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of industrial safety regulations and standards.
• Ability to work on-site and coordinate directly with clients and technical teams.
