What we are looking for

Role: Platform Engineer

Experience Range: 6 to 10 Years

Location: Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Delhi

Must Have:

• Responsible for the NSX-T network, firewall, and load balancing configurations, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
• Apply standards-based routing protocols (OSPF and BGP).
• Apply core load balancing principles as well as Transport and Application Layer principles (persistence, monitoring [TCP, HTTP, HTTPS], cookies, etc.).
• Ensure network reliability and availability through well-planned and implemented solutions.
• Improve network manageability and scalability.
• Develop, maintain, and support networks in NSX/NSX-T.
• Monitor the automation of network deployment and configuration, along with the integration of infrastructure (compute/storage) automation.
• Monitor integration with other software-defined networking technologies.

Good to Have:

• Experience in network engineering with a strong focus on VMware NSX-T deployment, configuration, and support.
• Technical Skills:
• In-depth expertise in VMware NSX-T, including network, firewall, and load balancing configurations.
• Proficiency with standards-based routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
• Strong understanding of core load balancing principles and advanced features (persistence, monitoring [TCP, HTTP, HTTPS], cookies, etc.).
• Proven ability to ensure network reliability and availability through well-planned and implemented solutions.

Essential:

Minimum Qualification:

• 15 years of full-time education
• Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
