We are looking for aPlatform Engineerwith13 years of experiencewho views infrastructure as a product. In this role, you won't just be "managing servers"; you will be building the high-throughput pipelines and scalable foundations that empower our entire engineering team.

The ideal candidate is a "free thinker" who is obsessed with efficiencysomeone who takes pride in making a system 10x more scalable while simultaneously driving down the cloud bill. You will have a high degree of ownership over our CI/CD, cloud instrumentation, and database architecture.

• High-Throughput CI/CD:Design and implement automated pipelines that are fast, reliable, and capable of handling high-frequency deployments without bottlenecks.
• Cloud Cost Engineering:Implement deep instrumentation and tagging strategies to track every cent spent in the cloud. You will lead the charge in identifying waste and optimizing resource allocation.
• Database Stewardship:Own our database infrastructure. You will be responsible for driving down architectural complexity, optimizing queries, and choosing the most cost-effective storage solutions.
• Scaling & Reliability:Build a platform that scales seamlessly with user growth. You will anticipate bottlenecks before they happen and implement self-healing infrastructure.
• Ownership & Innovation:We value free thinking. You are encouraged to challenge existing setups and propose modern, "lean" alternatives that improve performance while reducing overhead.
  

• Experience:13 years in a DevOps, SRE, or Platform role.
• Cloud Proficiency:Strong experience with AWS (or similar providers) with a specific focus on cost-management tools and serverless/containerized scaling.
• Automation Mindset:Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins).
• Database Knowledge:Comfortable managing and scaling SQL/NoSQL databases, with an eye for reducing redundant complexity.
• Frugal Architect Mentality:You enjoy the challenge of "doing more with less" and have a track record of optimizing cloud spend.
