Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Piping Design Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in piping design, preferably within the maritime or offshore industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of maritime standards, piping design codes, and the requirements of classification societies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop piping systems for marine vessels and offshore platforms.

Prepare piping layouts, isometric drawings, and material take-offs.

Ensure designs comply with applicable maritime standards and classification society regulations (e.g., DNV, ABS, LR, IRS).

Collaborate with structural and mechanical teams to ensure integration of systems.

Support in preparing technical documentation and design calculations.

Conduct 3D modeling and review using industry-standard tools.

Assist in design reviews, approval processes, and client meetings when required.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in piping design.

Strong understanding of maritime standards and classification society requirements (e.g., DNV, ABS, LR).

In-depth knowledge of piping standards, materials, and marine equipment.

Proficient in engineering drawing interpretation and specification development.

Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Mandatory software proficiency: AutoCAD Plant 3D, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD 2D.

Familiarity with shipyard processes, newbuilds, or retrofit projects.
