PHP Developer

Role Overview:

Seeking a hands-on PHP Developer to act as a technical authority during application transition. The role involves application discovery, architecture analysis, vendor coordination and ensuring system stability, scalability and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage application discovery across backend (PHP) and frontend components
• Analyze architecture, APIs, data models and system design
• Validate vendor documentation and drive knowledge transfer
• Identify technical debt, risks and dependencies
• Recommend pre/post-transition improvements
• Act as technical escalation point and guide engineering teams
• Review code, integrations and architectural decisions
• Collaborate with cloud and security teams for deployment and compliance
• Improve system reliability, performance and maintainability

Required Skills:

• 2.5+ years of experience with strong PHP backend development
• Experience with complex codebases, APIs and system architecture
• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps and database design
• Experience working with external vendors
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• Experience in system transitions or migrations
• Exposure to AWS or cloud environments
• Knowledge of security/compliance frameworks
