PHP Developer

We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer for government and enterprise application development projects. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in PHP frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter, experience working on secure and scalable applications, and exposure to government/NIC ecosystem projects. Candidates with prior experience on NIC/government projects and relevant security clearances will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, Laravel, and CodeIgniter
• Design and develop secure REST APIs and backend services
• Work on database design, optimization, and performance tuning
• Integrate third-party and government APIs/services
• Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Ensure application security, scalability, and coding best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for delivery and deployment
• Maintain technical documentation and support deployment activities

Required Skills

• 45 years of hands-on experience in Core PHP
• Strong experience with Laravel and/or CodeIgniter framework
• Good understanding of MVC architecture and OOP concepts
• Strong knowledge of MySQL, query optimization, joins, and indexing
• Experience in REST API development and integration
• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as JWT, Sanctum, or Passport
• Experience with Git/version control systems
• Familiarity with Linux environments and Apache/Nginx servers
• Understanding of security best practices for enterprise/government applications
• Experience with cron jobs, queues, caching, and background jobs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on NIC or Government projects
• Familiarity with government application workflows and compliance requirements
• Experience handling sensitive/public-sector data securely
• Exposure to Redis, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms
• Knowledge of deployment and production monitoring

Qualification

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
