Job Description

Job Title: Performance Marketing & Retention Manager

Experience Required: 45 years

Industry Preference: E-commerce / D2C

Location: Marol, Andheri East, Mumbai.

Timings : Monday to Friday | 9:30 to 6:30 WFO | Saturdays WFH


Role Overview

We are looking for a data-driven Performance Marketing professional who can not only scale

paid acquisition but also drive user retention through CRM and lifecycle marketing. The ideal

candidate has hands-on experience managing high budgets and building targeted customer

journeys to maximize LTV.


Key Responsibilities


Performance Marketing

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid campaigns across channels such as Google, Meta, and other digital platforms
  • Manage and scale monthly ad budgets up to 1 crore with strong ROI focus
  • Continuously monitor performance metrics (CAC, ROAS, CTR, conversions) and optimize campaigns
  • Run A/B tests on creatives, audiences, and landing pages to improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with creative and product teams to improve campaign performance


Retention & CRM

  • Own CRM strategy across channels like Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and push notifications
  • Design and implement automated user journeys (onboarding, activation, reactivation, churn prevention)
  • Segment users effectively based on behavior, lifecycle stage, and engagement
  • Work with CRM tools (e.g., MoEngage, WebEngage, CleverTap, HubSpot, etc.) to execute campaigns
  • Analyze retention metrics and optimize for repeat purchases and customer lifetime value (LTV)


Key Requirements

  • 45 years of experience in performance marketing, preferably in e-commerce or D2C brands
  • Proven experience managing large-scale ad budgets (~1 crore/month)
  • Strong understanding of paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation tools
  • Ability to build user journeys, funnels, and lifecycle campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar
  • Understanding of attribution models and cohort analysis is a plus
