THE ROLE

As a Performance Ads Analyst at Vidrow, you will own the operational and analytical layer of our client ad accounts. You will be the person who knows at any given moment which creatives are scaling, which are fatiguing, where spend is leaking, and what the next experiment should be. You will work directly with strategists, editors, and account leads, and your analysis will directly shape both the creatives we produce and the way we deploy budgets.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. You will not be handed a playbook you will help write it.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Ad Operations

  • Set up, launch, and structure campaigns across Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
  • Build and maintain campaign taxonomies, naming conventions, and UTM frameworks that keep reporting clean across 515 client accounts at any time.
  • Manage day-to-day ad ops: budget pacing, audience segmentation, placement optimization, bid strategy tuning, creative rotation, and pixel/conversion API hygiene.
  • Coordinate creative uploads with the production team ensuring every variant launched has correct tracking, naming, and grouping for downstream analysis.


Reporting and Analytics

  • Build weekly and monthly performance reports for clients covering spend, CPM, CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, hook rate, hold rate, and creative-level breakdowns.
  • Develop dashboards (Looker Studio, Google Sheets, or similar) that the account team and clients can self-serve from.
  • Run creative performance analysis: identify which hooks, formats, durations, and angles are driving outcomes, and feed those insights back into the creative brief loop.
  • Conduct cohort analyses, A/B test reads, incrementality reads, and statistical significance checks before declaring a winner.
  • Flag anomalies in pacing, attribution, or platform behavior early and investigate root causes, not just symptoms.


Growth and Experimentation

  • Design and execute structured experiments creative tests, audience tests, landing page tests, bidding tests with clear hypotheses and success criteria.
  • Maintain a learning log: a living document of what has been tested across accounts, what worked, what didn't, and why.
  • Benchmark client performance against industry norms and surface opportunities for scaling or reallocation of budget.
  • Partner with strategists and editors to translate data signals into the next round of creatives closing the loop between media and creative.


Client and Cross Functional

  • Join client calls when needed to walk through performance, present insights, and answer data questions with clarity.
  • Work closely with creative leads to ensure briefs are informed by what is actually working in-platform.
  • Document processes and contribute to building Vidrow's internal performance playbook.



WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR :


Must Have :


  • Education: Undergraduate or postgraduate degree from a Tier-1 institute IIT, BITS, NIT, IIIT, IIM (UG programs) or comparable. We're flexible on discipline; engineering, mathematics, economics, and statistics backgrounds tend to fit well.
  • Experience: 12 years of full-time experience in performance marketing, growth, ad ops, marketing analytics, or a closely adjacent analytical role. Strong internships in the same areas count.
  • Platforms: Hands-on experience with at least Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
  • Analytics: Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets at an advanced level pivots, lookups, array formulas, basic statistical functions. SQL is a strong plus. Looker Studio or any BI tool experience is a plus.
  • Analytical instinct: You don't just pull numbers you ask why. You can look at a dashboard and form a hypothesis about what's happening within minutes.
  • Ownership: You treat client accounts like they're your own. You notice things before anyone asks.
  • Communication: You can explain a performance read to a non-technical client without losing the nuance, and to a technical teammate without losing the action item.


Nice to Have :


  • Working knowledge of Python or R for ad-hoc analysis.
  • Experience with attribution tools (Triple Whale, Northbeam, Hyros, GA4 with server-side tracking, etc.).
  • Exposure to e-commerce / DTC, mobile app install campaigns, or B2B lead-gen funnels.
  • Past work that involved sitting at the boundary of creative and media e.g., creative testing frameworks, UGC performance analysis.
  • A point of view on AI tooling in ad operations and reporting.
