PeopleSoft Technical Support Analyst – Financials

Production Support (L2/L3) :

• Provide day-to-day L2/L3 support for PeopleSoft Financials applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across:
• GL, AP, AR, AM, PO, Billing, Contracts
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes or workarounds.
• Address performance issues, SQL tuning, and application errors.
• Monitor App Server, Process Scheduler, and system logs.

Development & Enhancements :

• Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft technical components:
• Application Engine (AE)
• PeopleCode (Component & CI)
• SQR
• BI Publisher (BIP)
• Integration Broker
• Component Interfaces (CI)
• Application Packages & App Designer objects
• Deliver enhancements, customizations, and minor projects.
• Ensure adherence to PeopleSoft coding standards and best practices.

Integrations & Interfaces :

• Support inbound/outbound integrations with external systems.
• Troubleshoot Integration Broker services, APIs, batch jobs, and file interfaces.
• Monitor and ensure stable execution of batch processes via Process Scheduler.

Testing & Release Support :

• Create and execute technical test cases.
• Support SIT and UAT testing cycles.
• Assist with PUM image upgrades, retrofitting, and validations.
• Participate in releases, migrations, and version control (STAT / Phire).

Documentation & Compliance :

• Prepare and maintain:
• Technical Design Documents (TDDs)
• Impact Analysis
• Deployment/Rollback plans
• Update tickets in ServiceNow / Jira / Remedy.
• Ensure compliance with SOX and audit standards.

Collaboration & Communication :

• Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements.
• Coordinate with DBAs, infrastructure teams, and onshore stakeholders.
• Provide regular status updates and participate in support calls.

• Solid experience with PeopleSoft Financials modules:
• GL, AP, AR, AM, PO, Billing, Contracts
• Good understanding of:
• PeopleSoft Architecture & PIA
• Process Scheduler
• App Server & Scheduler logs
• nVision & BI Publisher
