Job description:

The role focuses on automation of PDK verification (LVS, DRC, PEX, Spice), web hosting of test results, and AI/ML analysis to enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Python/Perl/Tcl/Shell scripts for end-to-end PDK testing.

- Set up and manage CI-compatible web servers (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) to publish results and dashboards.

- Implement simple to medium ML models to flag verification failures.

- Create test plans, test cases and execute systematic validation campaigns.

- Design and build UI for internal tools in Python/pyqt5

- Ensure cross-tool compatibility and resolve integration issues.

- Document scripts, configurations, AI models and test outcomes in the team knowledge base.

- Collaborate with design engineers, software process engineers and QA leads to improve the verification flow.

Required Qualifications

- 4+ years of automation experience. In semiconductor or EDA environments would be a plus.

- Strong Python programming skills; Tcl or Shell or Cadence Skill a plus.

- Experience in qt5, json, SQL

- Experience with web hosting/CI tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

- Ability to build simple ML models using scikit-learn or TensorFlow.

- Basic understanding of layout and DRC/LVS/PEX flows; familiarity with Cadence, Mentor or Synopsys tools is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Hands-on experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Mentor Calibre, Synopsys ICV/StarRC.

- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Understanding of semiconductor process technologies (FinFET, FD-SOI, etc.)
